VIP Bride: Anslee Allen

What a fabulous afternoon we had pampering Anslee and her four lovely guests. She was accompanied by her mother, Laura; her soon-to-be mother-in-law, Melanie; her maid-of-honor, Kathryn and her bridesmaid, Hailey. The girls arrived to goodie bags full of surprises including lip gloss from Rawwbeauty, bracelets from Erin McGarrah, mini-emergency kits from Tres Beau Weddings, free classes from Pure Barre and much more. Once they had a chance to dig into their bags, everyone settled in to nibble on cake bites and sip some bubbly while they swooned over Anslee in each gown she tried! Anslee found the gown of her dreams and you can see the excitement on the bridesmaid's faces at exactly the moment they knew she had found the one! The afternoon was captured in photos by the fabulous, Laura Walker, and we want to share a few of our favorite with you! Enjoy a taste of the sweet life and stay tuned to @BustleGowns on Instagram - you may be our next VIP bride!

Bustle Bride: Daly Henning McCay

Daly is a classically beautiful woman with a little flare for vintage charm. She was absolutely fabulous in her Vineyard ballgown and Vera Wang sash. Take a peek at a few of our favorite images from her wedding day!

Catherine Ryals: seamstress and designer.

This lovely woman is Catherine and she is the most talented seamstress we have ever met.

Catherine has been sewing since age 6 when she began making clothes for her dolls. She has been perfecting her craft ever since and now has an adorable studio in Mountain Brook which is home to Catherine Ryals Couture. Not only is she is able to transform any gown with exactly the right alterations, she is also an incredible designer. She has created couture bridal and mother-of-the-bride gowns as well as frocks for numerous other affairs. Below are just a few of the wedding gowns from her original Stella Reese collection.

Bustle's Open House and Ribbon Cutting

What a great night! Thank you to all of our friends and family who came out to celebrate with us at the open house and ribbon cutting. To Dreamcakes and Magic City Macarons, thank you for providing the goodies - you truly helped make our night a special one. And a big, big thank you to our intern, Laura. She planned, designed, decorated and photographed a perfect party!

This is my family, and thanks to the help of each and every member, Bustle is no longer a dream but a reality. Each of them has in some way contributed to the foundation and continued growth of Bustle. Not only have they offered physical labor and emotional support, but they have believed in the dream which means more than words can say.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

XOXO

Meet our intern, Laura Walker

Laura has jumped on board the Bustle train and we are absolutely in love! She has a sweet spirit and a brilliantly creative mind that is always churning. The project on the board right now is our open house party, set to take place at the end of the summer. Laura is working away on designing party invitations (that are absolutely gorgeous, by the way), planning decorations and putting her touch of charm on every detail.

To give your eyes something to feast on, check out this wonderful dress she made entirely of pages from a book::

And here's a piece from one of her invitation suites::

Laura, we couldn't be happier that you chose to spend your summer with us. We can't wait to see what the future has in store. In the words of Gretchen Wieners, 'You're so fetch!'
